Your comment is redolent of a period in the late nineteen fifties when Jon Gnagy hosted an art class on TV., ostensibly to peddle his branded art supplies and draw along with me books. Living artists bemoaned a domesticated, packaged replica of Gnagy's "how to draw" sessions. The "human element" would be lost in the crass commercialization. Some art teachers were not worried by the intrusion: TV censors would never allow 'working from nature,' eg. drawing from nude female bodies. All would be ok.
