Why this administration is different. Not from 2017, but from every previous Presidential administration.
If the first 100 days, 2017 were about ‘words’ spoken in concocted White House photo ops, pressers and rallies, the first 100 days, 2025 is about ‘orders’ and the select personnel obeying the orders.
For no particular reason beyond their obsequiousness and subservience, mainstream media refuses to acknowledge this distinction. We should know better where we’re headed: It’s not about words. It’s about orders.
It’s about what T**** is setting in motion.
This time it’s not about ‘him’. This time it’s about us.
During the 45-administration (2017–2021), the American public struggled to translate what T**** said into action. There were no stipulated programs, no agendas. Instead, America was being held hostage by a suspended reality, a mark in a sidewalk game of three card monte. If there was an agenda, predictably one expected alteration. These were not isolated gaffes but calculated missteps which only 45 could correct. The ‘clown show’ of his administration boiled down to the dogged refusal to follow norms and precedent. In short, a refusal to govern.
