An American Vice President hectors its European allies.

In speeches, interviews and at least one face to face meeting with European leaders including Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky, U.S. Vice President J. D. Vance practiced “voodoo diplomacy,” promising little in the way of U.S. commitment and sacrifice, instead claiming a “new American” posture on the world stage — ‘America will make it up as we go along’.

Let’s be clear. Vance’s infamous “The Enemy Within Speech,” delivered to a group of European security heads, identified the threat to freedom not from an external source — Russia and China — but from sources “within.” HIs speech was a classic case of “projection”. What Vance was saying is that America is now the ‘enemy’.

What Vance was saying is that America does not want a durable peace for Ukraine. What America wants, is a deal for Russia — a country with half the GDP of California. A country whose leader, Vladimir Putin — no fan of democracy — has compromised American political elections and infected a political party with misinformation and conspiracy.
