The first 2024 Election Presidential Debate: too soon and too late.
Trump may try to do something he’s done before: pose as the comeback kid. It’s the only script he has. Otherwise, it’s anyone’s guess: Trump, the flack.
Biden will not last the 90 minute heat without veering into jumbled discourse masking reflection, experience. The audience will be left to decipher Biden’s rambling. Those sentient will try to divine what Biden meant. It’s not a gratuitous journey, but how many will survive: Biden, the soldier.
In the end the ‘informed voter’ loses something, The images will remain, along with the static, interrupting closure.
Can a moderator help us make sense of this incoherence?
