Would Biden protect us from an insurrection?

The answer may rely less on Biden’s physical stamina and more on do we have the tools. Who’s aging here, Biden or democracy?

Has America grown so enfeebled that its citizens can’t contain a tyranny in its midst?

The election of 2024 is ‘not up for grabs’; it’s being grabbed. During the first 2024 Presidential Debate, aired, Thursday, June 27, Trump dodges answering Chris Wallace’s question, ‘would you agree to the outcome of the election?’ Co-host Dana Bash clarified: “Yes or no.” They repeat the question lending a sense of dread.

(Trump) ‘As long as it’s a fair election.’

Huh? That’s a non-answer, at best a rejection of the question context, which Wallace and Bash repeated: yes or no, win or lose. Determinacy — what a vote should be, not a space for more ambiguity: that’s a “non-vote.”

That’s not affirming the process; that eliminates the process.
