Election 2020 v. Election 2024: Trump hasn’t Changed. Biden has.

October 27

If, like me, you are frustrated with how mainstream media has avoided clarifying the consequences of a Trump presidency and resorted to yesterday’s “compare and contrast” reporting of ‘where the candidates stand,’ read on.

If you are not frustrated at how mainstream media has been covering this election. If you are not exhausted and wishing this election were over, don’t stop reading.

This ditty was composed with you in mind.

Consider my antidote for “compare and contrast” candidate reportage— consider pondering the “newness” of it all.

Ask yourself, what’s new about this election?

For starters I have come up with a list. Feel free to add you own ‘what’s new about this election’ in the comments section.

In no particular order:

1 Only twice impeached former incumbent Presidential candidate

2 Newest Party affiliation: Harris Republicans

3 Only female Presidential candidate (after M.C. Smith, S. Chisholm, and H. R. Clinton)

4 Only convicted felon running for President
