Selling Deficits

April 9: All of a piece.

It’s about dominance not partnership. One can’t partner with domination. One can’t stop an abuser with obeisance.

The market swing of April 9 triggered by T**** announcing a 90 day pause on reciprocating tariffs shows not only dominance but market manipulation on a grand scale. Usually market manipulation prompts an investigation by a government financial watchdog, a look-see into who’s cornering the markets, amassing money while most are losing fortunes.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt chastised her press audience April 9 for not reading “Art of the Deal,” to better prepare their salubrious reckonings of the April 8 EO and subsequent pause. Well, that may be the wrong title. Or perhaps I read the wrong book.

Did I read “Art of the Deal” or “How to Manipulate Risk”?

This is not a deal, this is an overture from a self-appointed manipulator of the nation’s trust. This is not another Project 2025 “policy shift,” this is a back door assault on the electorate.

T**** is not a deal maker. T**** is a thief. Stealing is not assuming risk and sharing gain. Beware, America who are we partnering with. Tempting as it may feel to say, T****’s “success” is America’s success, its folly to repeat “his win is America’s gain.”
