Election 2020: July 19 Sunday Tropes

Joe Biden will be 78 years old November 20, 2020, IF ELECTED…and therein lies an opportunity for Trump to steal the election

During the Wallace-Trump gag fest, aired on Fox, Sunday, July 19, Trump when questioned about his sagging poll numbers, first dismissed them as “fake polls,” and then in an effort to undercut Wallace’s follow-up question, quickly pivoted revealing his strategy to steal the 2020 election:

“I did really well on my cognitive (ability) test.”

Translation:

The man leading Trump in the polls, Joe Biden, physically and mentally is a threat to national security. To preserve and protect national security therefore, Trump must be re-elected because ONLY HE can do the job.

Prepare for a “who’s more of a threat to national security” campaign narrative coming out of the White House. Prepare for “it can’t get worse than this, can it?” style campaign vitriol.

Forget the viability of “shoot from the hip” or “throw anything against the wall to see if it sticks” vote getting. When it comes to fear mongering and smearing, the arc to thuggery is short. Ask Trump’s confidante-mentor, Roy Cohn.

And media commentators, please bury the ‘explano-bromide’, “he’s speaking to his base.” Really? Trump is claiming the narrative. Steal the script, you’re closer to stealing the outcome. From Trump’s exalted position, audiences, like polls, are fake.

In the glare of the TV kleig lights, you can’t see the audience.
