America Bewitched
A broken society will attend an autocracy. Submission is a short cut to security.
January 20, a day of remembrance. January 20, a day of infamy.
President 47 would have us divided, isolated and fearful.
On Wednesday, January 15, the Prime Minister of Denmark took a call from the US President elect. They discussed Greenland.
That turned out to be a mistake. The purpose of the call was to feel out the Prime Minister for weakness in the relationship between Denmark and the United States. Not a putative weakness, but a constructed weakness. Not one perceived by the Prime Minister, but foreseeably by the Danes.
Loyalty to T**** is far more important than any strategic advantage of annexation. Indeed, America could get any concession from Denmark President 47 asked for.
Except one: fealty.
What T**** craves is not what “the people seek.” What T**** craves is ‘normalcy’ on his terms. Pose a ‘work around’ your neighbor’s title, office, mandate, constitution.
In the end, submission. ‘America knows what’s best.’
To not give into these feelings requires more than reason, to not give in requires collective will and investigation.
