Pre-election jitters or evidence of a rattled mind? Driving back from picking up Mr. Ollie at the groomers, (see picture above) I was entertained by the following tidbit from Frank Lutz, polling savant to the political right wing, speaking through the megaphone of PBS:

‘Ever since Kamala started getting negative, her polls numbers have dropped. I mean, she was ahead 5 points after she declared her candidacy and her message carried joy; now she is sounding negative and she is 2 points behind in the polls.’ (loose transcript)

Where have we heard this positive-negative posturing garbage before?

Russia, the country that sends the world its best hackers, trollers, and conspiracy mavens. Who know how to bifurcate a poll or two.

Russia, the country that brings us those who are paid to trash democracy.

It’s all about being positive, right? Of course, that’s who wins: let’s be positive.
